WHAT IS YOLA?
When naming the company back in 2012, Alex believed that the name should mean something special to him, and in his opinion, should be very personal. Seeking a name that would tell a unique brand story, he decided to name it Yola Customs as Yola is the name of a small town in Russia where he grew up in called Yoshkar-Ola. Citizens of the area lovingly call it Yola for short and that’s how Yola found a new home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

THE DREAM TEAM
Alex is a business professional with a Masters degree in Eductaion as well as a diploma for Business, Financing, and Accounting. He opened Yola Customs in 2012 and has over 10 years of auto customization and repair experience while looking for ways to enhance the look of his clients vehicles, making their dream vision become a true reality.
Mikey graduated from the Alberta University of the Arts in 2021 and holds a Bachelor of Design degree. He is overly passionate about his work and always keeps up to date with the latest design trends to make every project seamless. He is here to help make your company stand out amongst the rest with a timeless, eye-catching design.
After graduating High School from Foothills Composite High School; Nico joined Yola Customs with a burning passion for cars. He loves to stay busy whether it’s at work, home or with friends. Nico is very athletic and enjoys playing volleyball, working out, running and biking. He is interested in running his own vinyl shop one day.
